The Forte 3D speaker cabinet design allows sound to pass through vents on either side of the cabinet. These vents are not tuned, as in a bass reflex system, allowing the 3D design to work well with a wide variety of guitar speakers. Sound emanates from the sides of the cabinet much as it would from the rear of an open back cabinet while providing better dispersion and consistent tone from venue to venue. The result is a speaker cabinet that's never "boxy" or "boomy" with outstanding dispersion, clarity, and a solid low end.
